Israeli Chicken Shnitzel
Here is my sister’s signature dish. Israeli Shnitzel. Enjoy!!!
You will need:
1 package of chicken breasts, pounded thin
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup orange juice
2 cups breadcrumbs
vegetable oil for frying
The Scene- My Mom’s REAL kitchen;

Pound chicken breasts with a meat pounder, under wax paper.

Mix the egg wash and orange juice. Dip chicken breasts into egg batter, individually.

After eggwash, dip chicken breast in breadcrumbs, coating evenly.

Fry the chicken in a hot pan with vegetable oil, for 3 minutes each side, until golden brown.

Pat cooked shnitzels with a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Try overspicing the egg with paprika, garlic, black pepper, salt, and a bit of chicken consoumme. Since only a small amount of egg actually is retained by the chicken, it gives it a good bit of flavor.
